Abstracts
I mainly enjoyed painted abstracts before my MFA but decided to pursue figurative painting while in school because it was an area that I wanted to improve. Now that I am a MFA graduate, I want to include abstracts in my everyday painting. While doing my series, Poetry of Family, I found that I really loved the textures and designs that I could create with my style. The abstracts in this section were inspired by the Poetry of Family Series.
