Poetry of Family is a series of expressive and semi-abstract portrait paintings of my family that represent the variety of relationships and connections that I have as a daughter of a multi-ethnic family who grew up far away from most of my extended family. They are paintings created from photographs that mirror and represent the relationship and my interpretation of the relationship between myself and my family members.
